Step 1. Select a Category

Help users find your listing by selecting the category that best describes your listing. Be precise when you select your category so it’s the most relevant one for your listing. In some cases, we might change your listing’s category if you’ve selected a category that doesn't match your item.

Scroll the drop down menu and select the best category.

Click Continue.

Step 2. Select a Listing Package

We have provided the listing user with several different packages to meet every budget and listing objectives. If you are listing an event, you may only need a 30 day listing. If you are listing your company, you may opt for the year long listing. The longer the listing, the better value you receive.

Click on the package that works best to continue.

Step 3. Listing Details

Completely fill out the fields in this selection. The effectiveness of your ad depends on thoroughly entering these fields. Write a descriptive title, short desription and full description: Help users find your listing with a title that's clear, complete, and descriptive. State exactly what the listing is (even if it repeats the category name). Include details such as the services offered, locations targeted, item available, or duties performed. The description is vital in helping users find you.

Map your listing location.

Included in this section is the Google map. Drag the pin to your location on this map. This is especially vital for mineral leases and royalty sales. Let users know where you are located

Location selection.

Be sure to select the proper location(s) for your listing. Select each location that applies to your listing. This may be limited to a certain state, or you may have nation-wide reach.

Upload a document(s).

Depending on the category you select, you may need to upload a document. Documents could include a resume, cover letter, property description, job description, bulletin, or flyer.

Extra Options.

ShaleBiz.com offers upgrade options that allow you to set your listing apart. For an additional fee you may make your listing featured, highlighted or bold. Click on the drop down menu to view the fee for each upgrade.

Featured Scroller on the Homepage:

If you feature your listing, your ad will receive prime real estate on the ShaleBiz.com homepage in the featured scroller. This will substantially increase your ad views as the scroller rotates those who opt for this option.

Bold:

Fairly straight forward. If you select this option, the text of your ad will stand out when your listing comes up during a site search.

Highlight:

Highlighting your ad will make your listing pop when it comes up on a site search. The highlight color is light green.

Step 4. Add Images

Add pictures to your listing: Including high-quality, evenly lit pictures of your item can help sell your item and can be vital to creating a listing that is engaging. Depending on the category, you will be allowed to upload 3-5 pictures.

For Businesses: Upload your logo, a picture of your project or staff.

Select “Click to select images” and then “Click to continue checkout.”

Step 5. Verify the Information

Verify personal and billing information.

Select your payment method.
